Scottville State School is a small rural primary school (Prep – Year 6) that recognises the importance of family and community in the educational partnership and the school works collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for all students. Family and community play an integral role in the educational partnership by participating in positive regular communication, active engagement in school events and activities and promoting our vision and values in the wider community. Our vision is to provide our students with every opportunity to be the best that they can be. To be well equipped, as a future citizen and empowered to consistently strive for their goals. 'Onward Ever Onward'.
Classes are multi-age and cohorts work across ability levels to support and extend students to maximise their learning. Teaching staff use strong pedagogical apporaches as a core to teaching new learning. Teacher Aides are invaluable paraprofessionals that extend the educational opportunities for children through provision of smaller dynamic groups and increased adult support. All staff work with enthusiasm and dedication to achieve excellence in education in a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Our vision is to provide our students with every opportunity to be the best that they can be. To be well equipped, as a future citizen and empowered to consistently strive for their goals. 'Onward Ever Onward'.
We strive to equip young people with skills and learning so that they can contribute to a socially, economically and culturally just society in line with the State Schooling Strategy: “Every Student Succeeding".

We value our school community connections and encourage productive partnerships. Through collaboration and consultation with our families and school community we are able to provide targeted and meaningful learning opportunities.
We intend to constantly improve what, and how, we do things at Scottville State School and invite you to be involved in your child's education. Your involvement positively contributes to our school culture and assists us to maintain a supportive environment for learning, growth and development.
